Job Description

Position Summary: The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in line with hotel standards. This role ensures that all rooms are serviced to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of the hotel. Core Responsibilities: • Clean assigned guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and detailing kitchens, appliances, and outdoor room spaces. • Replenish guest amenities and supplies according to hotel standards. • Report maintenance issues, damage, or missing items promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. • Ensure guest requests are handled quickly and courteously. • Assist with cleaning hallways, elevators, and service areas. • Deliver additional items (towels, amenities, cots, etc.) to guest rooms as requested. • Remove trash and dirty linens and restock housekeeping carts for daily operations. • Assist team members with deep-cleaning projects when required. • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely in line with hotel and Department of Environmental Health (DEH) guidelines. • Adhere to hotel security standards when accessing guest rooms. • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient room turnover. • Communicate effectively with the Front Desk regarding room status updates. • Assist with Monthly inventory counts • Perform Monthly scheduled deep cleaning projects as assigned
