Guest Services Valet Runner

Position Summary: The Bellman / Valet is responsible for creating a warm first impression by assisting guests with luggage, valet parking, and other arrival/departure services. This role requires attentiveness, efficiency, and professionalism in ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for. The Bellman / Valet also supports the Front Office team by providing concierge- style assistance, delivering items to rooms, and ensuring smooth guest movement throughout the property.
Core Responsibilities:
• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, embodying the “Caymankind” spirit.
• Assist guests with car doors and directrions for safe parking
• Assist guests with luggage, ensuring safe handling and delivery to rooms.
• Provide valet parking services, including safe driving and handling of guest vehicles.
• Escort guests to their rooms, explaining hotel amenities, services, and local highlights.
• Deliver guest items such as packages, amenities, or requested supplies promptly.
• Offer assistance with directions, dining recommendations, and local attractions.
• Maintain organization of the bell desk, luggage storage area, and valet key log.
• Assist with room moves, group arrivals, and VIP guest services.
• Support the Front Desk team during busy periods by managing queues and answering basic guest questions.
• Ensure trolleys, bell carts, and valet stands are clean and in good condition.
• Drive and park guest vehicles safely in accordance with Cayman Islands traffic laws.
• Ensure compliance with hotel security and guest confidentiality standards.
• Report accidents, damage, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
• Adhere to hotel grooming standards and professional appearance requirements.
