LAUNDRY
SPOTTER/CLEANER
The Laundry Spotter/Cleaner reports directly to the
Production Manager and is primarily responsible for identifying and removing
stains, operating the dry-cleaning machine, sorting hotel linens and articles
of clothing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Professional Spotting by inspecting soiled articles to
determine sources of stains and identify items requiring special treatment.
Sort soiled articles in preparation for washing; follow
procedures to separate them by customer, fabric, color, cleaning technique or
dirt content.
Operate machines including washers, dryers and
dry-cleaning equipment, etc. in a safe manner and in accordance with management
establishes procedures.
Iron or press articles, fabrics, linens, using hand irons
or pressing machines to ensure quality work at management established
production levels.
Properly identified and report losses and damages of
items.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment; report any
accident, safety issues and equipment problems to the Production Manager.
Perform other duties as required from time to time.
